The Californian Bay Area is known for its enormous and awesome Metal output. A Vicious End is a band from that very region, and this is a name that you should keep in mind. The main line up of A Vicious End is vocalist Igor Sokolov and Armando Diaz on guitars, bass and drums on “The Hills will burn”. Further support was given by the guests Christina Rotondo, Daniel Picknell, Carlos Carty and Joylin. The outcome is a raw and intense mix of heavy Metalcore with strong impact by the Bay Area Thrash Metal and some Nu Metal themes.

Stomping and halting riffs that weigh at least a ton and a half create a powerful movement. As these structures march forwards with massive motion they unload their sheer force in huge lightning bolts of Thrash Metal attacks. This electric sound is perfectly decorated with Igor’s raging shouts and growls that are situated somewhere between East Coast Hardcore and classic Death Metal.

Besides violence and force, A Vicious End present themselves via versatility, too. Two of the most stunning tracks on “The Hills will burn” are ‘Fields of Gray’ featuring the amazing clean voice of Christina Rotondo, and ‘Trail of Tears’ which is opened by Carlos Carty’s pan flute intro. This is an amazing album for huge moshpits.
