We recently took a closer look at the first 7’’ Split featuring Call in Dead and 2AMature . The sophomore DCxPC Live release was recorded at legendary Uncle Lou’s Entertainment in Orlando, Florida. Originally, a three-way split of The Sinema, TV Generation, and Call in Dead as planned to celebrate two recently granted awards: The Sinema won Orlando’s best Metal band, and Call in Dead won Orlando’s best Punk band. One of these events took place at Danger Room Recordings Services in Orlando, Florida on May 29, 2020. The show got streamed live on Facebook, and it is now available as a 7’’ vinyl record via DCxPC. As the release’s name “DCxPC Live Volume 1 Presents” obviously tells us, this is only the first live recording done at the Danger Room which you can...

Picture Credit: Steps of Odessa Steps of Odessa - Obsidian Skies Release: August 07, 2020 Label: selfrelease Format: Digital Length: 30:44 Genre: Metalcore / Djent Origin: Orlando (Florida), USA Fasten your seatbelts, a storm is a-coming. Steps of Odessa, probably neighbours of Disney World and Universal Studios, have released their first longplayer "Obsidian Skies". Three years ago the band premiered with their EP " Wasteland ", now they're shooting their aggressive and progressive Metalcore at us again. The recipe Steps of Odessa work with contains stomping Metalcore with harsh breaks, a strong impact by Djent, plenty of atmospheric synthesizers beneath the rough surface, and anger. Certain proportions of Math Rock can be spotted, but I would rather say, there are several Math Rock motifs while the majority of the album is defined byMetalcore.
