Oats is a one-person band from England's capital. The latest and third release is the EP "Glowbox" - a sixteen-minute dream vacation between (Neo-)Psychedelic Pop, mesmerizing Dream Pop and fuzzy Shoegaze. Solo artist Ralf Steaggles plays, loops, alters and interconnects analog and digital instruments to create a multi-layer sphere of dreamy Pop and Rock music.

Oats' third release is soft, soulful and comfortable. Even though it is not washed-out. Steaggles does not neglect the element of Rock here. In the title track especially, the atmosphere of millenium era Indie Rock is kicking in - my favourite track on this EP by the way.
Altogether, "Glowbox" is a releaxing and comforting output. Breathe freely, close your eyes and let your mind wander across beautiful shorelines, rich green forests or the sunset behind an imposant skyline.
