You might remember that in May, the single 'Quite Rage' by Staffordshire-based artist Lissy Taylor was featured on this blog. The song is part of the recently released four-track EP "Undercurrent" by the talented musician from Stoke-on-Trent. On this EP, Lissy Taylor presents soulful and reflected songs that concern self-love, liberation from rusty structures, self-empowerment, summer sadness, and confidence. Smooth Indie Rock with an atmospheric twist creates a warm and soothing mood while Lissy Taylor's gentle vocals complete the stunning soundscape. The harmonic and sweet sonic melancholy sounds of "Undercurrent" can be located somehwere between Indie Rock and Pop with a nuance of Grunge that provides a certain extra mood.  Lissy Taylor's new EP is a great fit for candle light, a glass of wine, and a joyful evening.
