The Fairgreen Band - Hell is other People (MR)

Oli Mortham from Diss, Norfolk has had several appearances on MangoWave as sole musician of Alternative and Math Rock band Polymorth. Recently, Mortham has joined forces with his father-in-law Paul Austin, and together they are The Fairgreen Band who have now presented their first album "Hell is other People". The result is a cross-generational and artistic display of the search for liberty. Austin and Mortham thus combine harmonic Folk Rock, rebellic Garage Rock, and emotional Alternative Rock.
Nyctopia - Full Moon Calling (MR)

Estonian underground label Warhorn presents the full-lenght debut by Nyctopia from Glasgow, Scotland. On eight tracks the band presents Black Metal from another dimension. Nordic and symphonic elements find their way into this monster of blastbeats and groove attacks as well as massive 1980s style Death and Thrash Metal influences. And after all, Nyctopia provide their listeners with impressively anthemic passages and sonic blizzards. Special guest appearance is done by Hoest (Taake).
Altamadum - Run from you (MR)

On their latest single, 'Run from you', Altamadum from Canadian Thunder Bay combine the gloomy heavyweight power of late-1990s Alternative Rock with the electrifying energy of Techno and Eurodance. The result of this unorthodox alloy is a workout hymn that will make you go from zero to hero in no time. This powerful tune has enough power to outshine Thor and his mjölnir.
MONO - Scarlet Holliday (MR)

With this three-track EP, Post Rock legends MONO from Tokyo, Japan look back on the first two years of the new world order which is coined by the pandemic. The title track of "Scarlet Holliday" and its second song 'First Winter' are a musical retrospect of the first lockdowns, the chaos, the calm, and these special times in which life seemed to be frozen and massively stirred simultaneously. Together with the ambient 'Epilogue', this EP is a gorgeous cinematic recording, wordlessly telling us about the craziness that began in March 2020.
Marco Luponero & The Loud Ones - Life & Death (MR)

Marco Luponero & The Loud Ones are not here for games. The band from Finnish capital opens their album "Life & Death" with the Speed-Metal-Punk-Motörhead-bastard 'Hook' and thus immediately create a destructive moshpit. After the folky and reflective 'The New Dark Ages', they kick down the throttle again and provide us with Punk for the fast lane. This musical sweeping blow is an awesome party banger for all ages.
Unru - Die Wiederkehr des Verdrängten (MR)

German Atmospheric Black Metal band Unru takes us to a misty and dizzy space. Noise and Shoegaze have found their way into the freezing cold soundscape as weel as Crust and Hardcore Punk. The result is a collection of artistic expressions that dig deep into the human psyche and its fight for liberation from constraints. Thus, Unru concern the act of suppression of negativity and the suppressed toxines ability to return.
Moura - Baile de Dentón (MR)

Witht their latest single 'Baile de Dentón', Moura from A Coruña, Galicia present the first sound of their upcoming sophomore longplayer "Axexan, espreitan" which will be out on May 27, 2022. Influenced by the harmony of Galician Folk and the energy of Progressive Rock, Moura enchant our ears with mesmerizing Psychedelic Kraut. The new track invites us to a healthy trance and keeps us stoked for the upcoming album.
Thot - Méandres (MR)

Thot from Brussels, Belgium take us on a unique sonic journey on their latest EP "Méandres". As the title reveals, meandering movements define the ostensible appearance if the three-track release. Its first song, the mesmerizing Post Rock anthem 'Euphrate', concerns the ongoing fight for equal rights of women and non-male human beings across the globe. The following track 'Bateleur' is a massive interstellar collision on which Thot launch from Post Rock and accelerate to warp speed Industrial, until the final song 'Sleep Oddity' gies back to rather soothing Post Rock and Ambient tunes.
