Silent void? Rubble and debris? Or maybe edificiation? Well, probably this review will not provide us with an answer. But nevertheless, the debut album by London's After Smoke Clears is called "Edification" and thus let us be hopeful and enjoy some brachial sound. My first impression of the album is a very positive surprise. Reason is, there is one thing I often miss in Modern Metal releases. Groove. It appears to me that Modern Metal bands often put a lot of effort in creating dystopian soundscapes and finding the right relation between Industrial and Hardcore.
