In late 2019 they finally released their debut LP via Spanish label Violence in the Veins. The output is an 11-track album with a very interesting (or artistic) order of songs. The eight songs are numbered XVIII, XIV, XII, XV, XVI, XVII, XIX, XX. Furthermore, there are three tracks called 'Atone' which are ordered II, I, III. Maybe, I just don't get it, or this is pure nihilism. Either way, it does not mar the quality of "Demons or someone else" a bit. Montecharge serve us a violent but sophisticated melange of Blackened Sludge, Noise and Post Hardcore. Capital Youth aus dem sonnigen Genf haben ein neues Mixtape an den Start gebracht. Über das Label Roosevelt Records, das sie selbst ins Leben gerufen haben, werden zwei brandneue Tracks released. Musikalisch spielt sich "Mixtape Vol. 2" zwischen kraftvollem Indie Rock , 77 Punk, Garage Rock und Surf Punk ab. Es geht also mit Vollgas nach vorne. Crunchige Gitarren bauen in schönster 77er und Garage Manier das Grundgerüst für die beiden flotten Nummern. Ganiert wird das Ganze mit melodischen Klängen, die die Hörenden direkt in eine sommerliche Umgebung versetzen. Hier trifft britischer Punk der späten 70er auf US-Skate-Punk der 90er und vermischt sich mit einer rauen, unikaten Note. 'Farewell' und 'Rebel' sind großartige Tracks zum Tanzen, Feiern, Skaten, und eignen sich sicherlich auch großartig für jegliche andere schnelle Fortbewegung.
