Album Review: K.A.Z - Fighting for Life (2019)
Six years ago K.A.Z were founded in Lidköping, Sweden with the aim to produce intense and heavy Rock and Metal. One single and one EP later the powerful quintet has released their first full-length album "Fighting for Life" . The selfreleased piece contains ten tracks of which 'Beautiful' and 'In Flames' are also available as singles. K.A.Z play some highspeed and roughedge mixture of Heavy Rock, Hard Rock and Heavy Metal with catchy melodies and atmospheric harmonies. Central elements of the album are Ocar s clean and powerful Heavy Metal leads and Louise s strong and omnipresent Hard Rock chants. Around these melodic instances there is a raw and forceful landscape of galopping and intense rhythms, massive riffing as well as the support of background growls.
