Artist Introduction: Violateher
Violateher from Portland, Oregon are a quite new band I discovered while scrolling through one of my favourite pages Female Fronted Punk Bands . The band consists of drummer Zoe, and guitarist and singer Taylor. Their music is "for the mothers, the sisters, the daughters, the queers, the womxn, the othered, [and] for those who will not listen". I may add, Violateher's music is awesome! I would probably describe it as raw, tough,Grunge-Punk. As far as I can conceive Violateher have been around for a bit more than a year, and have played plenty of concerts in the United States. Recently their second Single "Toothache" has been released on their Bandcamp page featuring two songs in a beautiful, rough, and fast manner. Similar to the first Single "Me, me, me." Violateher play fast, strong, a little sludgy Punk Rock and Grunge. If you like artists such Hands off Gretel, Hole, or even Kylesa, you will easily fall in love with Violateher's music. ...
