Let me tell you about the kick-ass Punk Rock Show I attended yesterday. The Sensitives , The Bloodstrings , and Death by Horse played at the Immerhin in Würzburg on their Female Fronted Boy Bands Tour . This is the story of three concerts, around three hours of amazing Punk Rock and  apparently more than three bottles of beer. Death by Horse Introduced by France Gall's biggest hit Death by Horse entered the stage. The Swedish power quartet jumped into action immediately and singer Jahna spent most of the time in front of the stage. Amongst the front rows of people and moshpits she directed the concert perfectly and with sheer power. As far as I can tell, their song ' Dear Jim ' was played with an alternative ending which I liked a lot. In drei Wochen ist es soweit: The Sensitives , Death by Horse , und The Bloodstrings gehen zusammen auf Tournee! Das Motto heißt " Female Fronted Boy Bands ". Gemeinsam werden die drei Gruppen vom 21. bis 30. November nahezu täglich eine Venue abreißen. The Sensitives Punk Rock aus Schweden mit einem galanten 77er-Einschlag. Innerhalb der letzten acht Jahre haben The Sensitives drei flotte, tanzbare Alben voller Rock'n'Roll, Punk Rock, und Party herausgebracht. Fans von Ebba Grön oder Asta Kask werden viel Freude mit dieser Truppe haben. Death by Horse Ebenfalls aus Schweden kommen die fantastischen Death by Horse, die mit ihrer dynamischem Crossover aus Punk Rock, Hardcore und Ska gewaltig auf den Putz hauen. Es ist Zeit für eine gehörige Ladung Arschtritte, denn Death by Horse aus dem Süden Schwedens haben ihre zweite Langspielplatte "Reality hits hard" auf dem großartigen Label Twisted Chords veröffentlicht. Nachdem die Band 2017 als beste Newcomer Schwedens nominiert wurden, haben sie sich erneut dem Songwriting gewidmet, um jetzt zwölf brandneue Tracks zu präsentieren. Die Message hier ist zweierlei und eindeutig: Punk Rock ist verdammt mal noch nicht tot, und eben "Reality hits hard". Death by Horse spielen schnellen, melodischen, treibenden Punk Rock, der hier und da ein bisschen Hardcore-Einfluss zeigt, stets einen Fuß auf dem Gaspedal hat, während das andere Bein zum Arschtreten bereit ist. Die schnellen Rhythmen sind mitreißend und galoppieren mit Leichtigkeit über den Tonträger. Gitarren und Bass kreieren eine schöne mehrschichtige Landschaft aus Verzerrung und Crunch, wobei dann und wann mal ein ruhiger cleaner Part eingebaut wird, um den Zuhörenden kleine...

Time to kick some ass! Death by Horse from Southern Sweden have released their second longplayer via the great label Twisted Chords. After being nominated for Sweden's best newcomer act two years ago the band went into songwriting again, and is now presenting twelve brand new songs that basically two messages: Punk Rock is fucking alive, and reality hits hard. Death by Horse play fast, driving, and melodic Punk Rock with some Hardcore influence here and there, one foot on the throttle, and the other one ready to kick ass. The fast beats infectious and easily galopp over the record. Guitars and bass are creating a melodic multi-layer scape of distortion and crunch with some clean parts from while to while which allow the listener to take a litte breath before the next storm. The singer's voice adds up perfectly to the sound. She mostly sings in a strong but harmonic manner. I'd locate the voice somewhere between Brody Dalle and Cecilia Boström.
