They were raised Essex, met in Prague, and moved to Kentish Margate. Since 2017, the duo has steadily released music located somewhere between the dynamics and harmonies of Folk, the darkness of Post Punk, the bright colours of queer cabaret, and a progressive Punk Rock attitude. They call their style Broken Folk, which to my ears is related to Protest Folk. Hence, I am somewhat reminded of some of my all-time favourite artists: Devon's Protest Folk / Punk band Crazy Arm , Fürth's Folk Noir bard Mäkkelä , and German street artists Milch & Blut.
