I was born in 1987. In the same year J.P. , Roberto , Alexandre  and Rica  founded the band Metralion in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil . All four of them were into Thrash Metal and that's exactly what you're hearing when you listen to their songs. Within the following two years, two albums were released: "Quo Vadis" (1988) and "A Mosh in Brazil" (1989). And then there was silence. Silence kept on for over thirty years. Back in the year 2000, James Fogarty 's project Ewigkeit recorded their third album "Land of Fog". Two decades later the musician who is also know for his work with In the Woods... , Jaldaboath , and Old Forest is giving us the pleasure of a re-production of his powerful and versatile album. His "Land of Fog 20/20 Revision" features around 40 minutes of Black and Progressive Metal . Since early February 2020 the new release can be streamed on Spotify or purchased as a digital version. It has been sixteen years since Reino Ermitaño released their legendary self-titled album. What has been an insider tip for a long time has now been re-released via Peruvian/German record label Necio Records. I am very glad that the St. Petersburg-based five-piece band's first record has just been re-released on the German label Tonzonen records since otherwise I might have never heard of this extravagant piece of art. One hour of eccentric, experimental , predominantly instrumental music is presented on three tracks here. The number of instruments Слово Мира use is sheerly impressive. Even though the band has only five members they implemented drums, percussions, oxoma synths, a balalaika, glockenspiel, electronics, guitars, an electric double bass, keyboards, a fretless bass, and even a theremin to their recordings.
