Hello there! It's Horror Monday! I received access to the new album by Mexican one-person Avantgarde Death Metal project The Outsider. That means 66 minutes of Horror and Symphonic Metal being available via Killsound Productions on April 24, 2020. The Outsider reinvented their avantgarde once more. Abandoning oriental motifs for the most part on the new album the project is presenting instruments and musical features of the pre-Hispanic era of Central America. Those are intertwined with Jazz passages, huge symphonic arrangements, choirs and brutal frightening Death Metal. The outcome is a brachial and beautilfully scaring listening experience. The setting relocates the listeners to the dark world of pre-Hispanic beliefs and religion.
