Papin , who used to create music with LaHoule , has recently formed his new solo band Sisyphes, and will very soon release an EP and an album. The single 'Des stops et des détours' is a beautiful composition of melancholy, desire, and hope. As the title tells us, it is about un unsteady but ongoing path defined by stops and detours - such as life is. A folky melody greets the listeners on top of a shoegaze-like Synthwave carpet. With his soothing vocals and the harmonic interaction of the instruments, Sisyphes creates a soundscape that resembles the first lights of dawn.
