 The CDs on hand are the seventh and ninth (if I am not mistaken) full-length releases by Bremen's extravagant quintet Mellow Melange. Recently I received the good news that The Dalton Correction's 2017 debut LP "Beware of Yarara" is available on the European market as a vinyl on Possible Records, and for streaming on bandcamp . Now first of all let me introduce you to the great band which unfortunately is still lacking popularity amongst European listeners: The Dalton Correction are a chill quartet from Argentinian capital Buenos Aires. Between 2012 and 2016 they recorded and mastered nine tracks for theirr first longplayer "Beware of Yarara" which was finally released in 2017. Their style is a fresh combination of Garage Rock, Krautrock , some Psychedelia , and the atmosphere of the summer of love 1969. I am very glad that the St. Petersburg-based five-piece band's first record has just been re-released on the German label Tonzonen records since otherwise I might have never heard of this extravagant piece of art. One hour of eccentric, experimental , predominantly instrumental music is presented on three tracks here. The number of instruments Слово Мира use is sheerly impressive. Even though the band has only five members they implemented drums, percussions, oxoma synths, a balalaika, glockenspiel, electronics, guitars, an electric double bass, keyboards, a fretless bass, and even a theremin to their recordings.
