Die vier Astronauten aus Lausanne sind mit ihrer neuesten LP "sphere" zurück und ich sage schon mal so viel: die Band hat mal wieder ein Meisterwerk erzeugt. Ich selbst habe monkey3 kennengelernt, als sie auf ihrer "The 5th Sun Tour" 2014 auf dem Psychedelic Network Festival in Würzburg spielten. Ich erinnere mich noch sehr genau, wie ich auch Tage nach dem Konzert noch die Melodie von "Icarus" im Kopf hatte. Etwa ein Jahr später spielten monkey3 wieder in Würzburg, aber dieses Mal war das im Konzert im Immerhin mit den Vorbands Rodeo Drive und Queen Morphine. Bei letzteren war ich damals Bassist.
