Their newest album "Planet Chaos" features over 70 minutes of heavy, melodic and progressive music. Thirteen track of which six are instrumentals are an intense output using almost all space available on a CD. Carcariass create multi-layer soundscapes that merge impact from mainly three styles. Technical Death Metal riffs and rhythms form the heavy backbone of "Planet Chaos". Above that, classic features of Melodic Death Metal float through the spheres.
