The (Neo-) Krautrock duo from Würzburg and Nuremberg took some holiday in early 2020. That was back in the days when travelling unreservedly possible. Apparently, they enjoyed their free time "Unter Palmen" , which is German for "under palm trees". Here, they recorded three new improvised tracks. And that is exactly what you are about to hear on this tape, pure and unaltered since there are no overdubs. Those of you who knew Zement before will  realize that "Unter Palmen" marks a strong progression in the sound of the band. Vor etwa einem Jahr wurde hier die zweite Platte von Zement "Klinker" besprochen, welche bei Sunhair Records erschien. Das (Neo-) Krautrock Duo ist aber seitdem alles andere als untätig gewesen. Neben einigen Auftritten gab es seitdem auch neue Musik vom Side Projekt Schweben und der Track CaO*MgO von "Klinker" wurde als 7'' bei verydeeprecords veröffentlicht. Auf dem Nürnberger Label gibt es jetzt den neuesten Streich von Zement auf Tape oder zum Download. Hinter dem kleinen Musikerwitz versteckt sich eine Sammlung von insgesamt zehn Remixes der "Klinker" LP. Gute sechzig Minuten enthält die Kassette, auf denen sich die Tracks von "Klinker" mal mehr und mal nicht ganz so viel von ihrer krautigen Herkunft entfernen. Das Würzburger Krautrock -Duo Zement ist seit nunmehr vier Jahren unter diesem Namen auf den Beinen und ist seit dem ersten Release bei dem Würzburger Krautrock- und Psychedelic -Label Sunhair Music zuhause. Zwei Jahre nach dem Erscheinen des Erstlings mit dem Namen "Werk" haben die beiden Neo-Krautrocker mit "Klinker" ihre nächste Langspielplatte herausgebracht.
