Now Automatism have already released their third album "Immersion" and it seems like they are really happy releasing their music via the amazing Krefeld-based label Tonzonen Records . "Immersion" features six new tracks on which the band proves that are not tired a bit. Instead, they constantly develop their unique style and have thus created an impressive work of progressive music. The sharp-dressed trio from the North are Jonas Yrlid  (drums), Mikael Tuominen  (bass), Gustav Nygren  (guitar) and Hans Hjelm  (guitar). Ein Dutzend Jahre ist es her, dass im Rahmen von Sessions die drei Berliner Toa Ster , Dan Low  und Max Appeal  die vier goldenen Worte "Wir gründen eine Band" gesagt haben. Der Stein, der hier ins Rollen gebracht wurde, sollte sich schon schnell zur langanhaltenden Lawine entwickeln. Bereits im Jahr darauf veröffentlichten Pyrior ihre erste EP "Pulsar", auf welche bis dato drei LPs sowie eine weitere EP folgen sollten. Am 20. März 2020 feiert das sechste Release des Hauptstadttrios "Fusion" seine Geburt. Die vierte LP von Pyrior erscheint bei dem kleinen aber großartigen Krefelder Label Tonzonen Records . Laut Eigenbeschreibung spielen Pyrior Orbital Riff Rock - eine unikate Terminierung, die sehr gut zum Stil der drei Berliner passt. Umschreiben würde ich die Musik als schweren, intensiven und kratzigen Space Rock  mit Betonung auf dem Suffix. My first encounter with Stockholm-based band was at last year's Tonzonen Labelnight . The Swedish quartet were the last band playing at that event after Nazca Space Fox , Pavallion , and The Spacelords . By playing their easy-going, sophisticated and heavily jamming Psychedelic Kraut Jazz Automatism proved that they absolutely fit the Tonzonen label. Also, I felt like the band members' faces looked familiar to me. Apparently they did, as Automatism consists of musicians playing with Kungens Män , New Rose , and Fanatism . Automatism's fourth release "Into the Sea" was recorded at Svartsjölandet Studio and released via Tonzonen Records in autumn 2019. The modest but gorgeous cover artwork done by drummer Jonas Yrlid  contains a shiny record with four tracks and a playtime of around 40 minutes. Dass die Kölner Band The DogHunters ein gewisses Faible für Wortspiele und Puns hat, wurde schon durch den 2017er Langspieler " The Shit Singles " unter Beweis gestellt. Diese Disziplin nehmen Schäng Anakonda , Peter Silie , Marquito Ferrero , Miami Vince  und Theo van Heuss  auch bei ihrem zweiten Album " Splitter Phaser Naked " wieder sehr ernst. Das schöne Scheibchen ist seit November 2019 als CD, hellblaue LP oder im Bundle beim sympathischen Krautrock Label Tonzonen Records erschienen. Etwas weniger als eine Dreiviertelstunde rocken und tanzen sich die fünf Künstler aus Hürth und Köln in erfrischender Weise durch die Rillen des Tonträgers. Nachdem Tonzonen-Chef Dirk Raupach  erst kürzlich gemeinsam mit seinem Bandkollegen Alex Djelassi  über Krautrock Legende Rolf-Ulrich Kaiser  sinnierte , ist schon wieder eine neue Veröffentlichung der Sounds of New Soma bei Tonzonen erschienen. Dieses Mal hat das Duo aus Krefeld mit den Moskauer Space Rockern Maat Lander eine Split auf 12 Zoll herausgebracht. Auf der A-Seite legen Arkadiy , Ilya , und Ivan von Maat Lander eine wuchtige Space und Psychedelic Rock Nummer aufs Parkett. Effekte, die wie tausend kleine Lichter und Armaturen flirren, glitzern und blinken begleiten die aufregende Reise an Bord des Raumschiffs des Maats. Synthies, Gitarren und Drums reichen dem Moskauer Trio vollkommen aus, um eine farbenprächtige Traumreise ins innere Auge der Zuhörenden zu zaubern. Zunächst hat mich der Name etwas verwirrt. "Komwuiat Jaowotjaoj"? Nein, natürlich nicht. "Kombinat Robotron" soll der Name der Kieler Band wohl ausgesprochen werden. Von einer solchen Verwendung kyrillischer Buchstaben lasse ich mich gerne erstmal verunsichern. "Комбинат Роботрон" würde ich es schreiben, aber ich sollte jetzt auch aufhören mit der Klugscheißerei, denn es gilt, eine wunderschöne Space / Krautrock Platte vorzustellen. Hinter dem Namen, der einmal für den größten Computerhersteller der DDR stand stecken vier Musiker aus Kiel. Nach gemeinsamen Space Jams und krautigen Abend wurde im Jahr 2018 aus dem Projekt eine Band mit gehörigem Output.
