Artist Introduction: Violateher

Violateher from Portland, Oregon are a quite new band I discovered while scrolling through one of my favourite pages Female Fronted Punk Bands. The band consists of drummer Zoe, and guitarist and singer Taylor. Their music is "for the mothers, the sisters, the daughters, the queers, the womxn, the othered, [and] for those who will not listen". I may add, Violateher's music is awesome! I would probably describe it as raw, tough,Grunge-Punk.

As far as I can conceive Violateher have been around for a bit more than a year, and have played plenty of concerts in the United States. Recently their second Single "Toothache" has been released on their Bandcamp page featuring two songs in a beautiful, rough, and fast manner. Similar to the first Single "Me, me, me." Violateher play fast, strong, a little sludgy Punk Rock and Grunge. If you like artists such Hands off Gretel, Hole, or even Kylesa, you will easily fall in love with Violateher's music.

Besides their amazing music there is another reason why this band should be heard, recognized, and supported a lot more. For every Dollar spent on their songs, Violateher donate a Quarter to the Sexual Assault Research Center in Beaverton, Oregon.
Now get out there and spread the word of this fantastic Grunge-Punk band with a powerful and great attitude!
