Lady Luna and the Devil - Mother of all Sin (MR)
The Swamp presents the second full-length release by rising star in the dark skies of Doom Lady Luna and the Devil. The trio from Detroit, MI presents a CD that contains all seven deadly sins wrapped up between their parents, the 'Mother of all Sin' and the 'Father of all Lies' and spiced by by a 'Sinterlude'.

Nothing is real - Transmissions of the Unearthly
Chaos and order are more than just a binary opposition - they are also neccessary parts of a functioning universe. And thus, the new album "Transmission of the Unearthly" is divided into the two parts 'Chaos' and 'Order' - each of them define half of this killer Prog Metal and Sludge album. The LA-based artist artistically proves that nothing is holy, and nothing is real.

Arde - Ancestral Cult (MR)
Three years after the release of their selftitled debut album, Berlin's Arde are back with their sophomore record "Ancestral Cult". While the band's roots in D-Beat and Crust habe not completely vanished, it is obvious that the Black Metal sound has taken over the soundscapes created by Arde. Riff attacks that blow like giant blizzards build up a sonic wall of ice and frost.

Relentless Aggression - A Shadow of All Things Broken (MR)
Back in the 1980s there was a band in Bergen, Norway called Hell Awaits. In the heyday of the Thrash Metal era, the band was highly celebrated, before their drummer
Erik "Grim" Brødreskift became even more popular for playing with Gorgoroth, Immortal, or Borknagar. Remaining member of Hell Awaits decided to re-record some of the old song to keep the legacy of Erik alive. As the reactions were overwhelming, the project Relentless Aggression became a band, and their latest album "A Shadow of All Things Broken" is a legit Old School Thrash Metal killer.

Psychotic Youth - A Tribute to ABBA
On this four-track EP, Gothenburg's Surf and Garage Punk band Psychotic Youth pays hommage to one of the most influential Pop bands of all time - the reason why even Americans know that Sweden exists - ABBA. This EP belongs to one of the best collections of Punk covers alongside Antillectual's 7'' from 2020. Psychotic Youth present their very own versions of 'S.O.S.', 'Super Trouper', 'Does your mother know', and 'Mamma mia' without abandoning the musical paths of neither ABBA nor of themselves.

ЗлурадВо благо злу (MR)
Reviewing "Во благо злу" (Russian: "For the Good of Evil") by Moscow's Злурад (Zlurad) is actually not that easy. Imagine your favourite 1980s Hardcore Punk musicians meeting up with a Jazz composer. As they decide to enjoy some extra strong LSD in their rehearsal room, one of them suddenly says 'Let's jam!' while the acid begins to kick. Once they leave the room, they realize that the world outside of their rehearsal room has been destroyed by a giant asteroid, so they go back in and start recording.

Matus - Espejismos II
Seven years after the release of the first part, Matus from Peruvian capital Lima are back with "Espejismos II" (Spanish: "Mirages II"). On this collection, the band presents classics and unreleased songs as well as new mixes or never before published versions of Matus songs. Not only for die-hard fans of the 70s rock legend from Latin America, this album is a gold nugget.

Rue des Cascades - The Black Sheep (MR)
The band from Swiss town Winterthur has declared "Eternal War on the Hitler Youth". Their latest work "The Black Sheep" is a three-track EP with more than 40 minutes of runtime. The melancholic soundscapes, Rue des Cascades present on "The Black Sheep" are a deep dark bouquet of manifold post-genres. Explore the rising of a new dark age with these stunning three songs.

Dogs Bite Back - Back? Forward! (MR)
When Erich Honecker, former chancellor of the German Democratic Republic coined the term "Vorwärts immer, rückwärts nimmer!" (German: "Forward ever, backward never!"), he might not have had in mind that this credo would outlive the East German state. On an album titled very similarly to this uttering, the trio from both Russian capitals Saint Petersburg and Moscow Dogs Bite Back provide us with eclectic, experimental, and avantgardist Jazz and Noise. Here are six songs and 40 minutes for lovers of frogressive music.

Lifecrusher - Soul Separation (MR)
Swiss Hardcore band Lifecrusher are not here to make compromises or beat around the bush. Modern Illusion Records presents a cassette of four wrecking balls of songs. Vocalist Rami and her band play the sound that sets the street on fire and shakes the Earth. Music for the revolution, music for standing up.

Speedball Trio - Speedball Trio (MR)
Moscow's Speed Ball Trio selftitled debut album is a powerful selfpresentation via serious Jazz and glitchy Noise. It might not be a huge surprise that this album was released via [addicted label], the home of avantgarde and frogressive music. And so, the three-piece from the Russian capital makes us dive into a deep vortex that races alongside extremes such as loungy Jazz, poppy Funk, noisy Grindcore, and more.

Remote Control - Annihilate (MR)
Yeah sure, it is very important not lose one's mind our temper in a tense situation as the one the pandemic has brought to us. It is also important to keep ourselves under control, look out for each other, and not become as crazy and hateful as those who think the whole thing is a hoax. And still, there can be frustration, anxiety, anger. Remote Control from Richmond, VA have written a song that helps screaming and shouting away that negativity.

Deep Valley Blues - Pills of Darkness (MR)
Fighting anxiety cannot always be successful without the help of medication. Anxiolytics and the potential to become addicted to these "Pills of Darkness" is the theme of the latest track by Catanzaro's Heavy Stoner Rock quartet Deep Valley Blues. It is the second single from the upcoming album "III", to be released via The Swamp Records.

Mein Neues Nicki - Der Olaf Scholz Moment (MR)
Olaf Scholz has been in office as the new chancellor of the Federal Republic Germany for only a few days, but there is already a song about him. Powerful Deutschpunk and an anthemi chorus deal with the current political situation between standstill, progression, and regression, in Germany, and everywhere else on this burning planet.

Coven - Le Blizzard Persiste
French Screamo and Post Harcore band Coven release their second EP via more than a dozen of indie labels. As the title already makes us assume, the sounds on this album are coined by cold storms, black and grey melancholy, and the ongoing fight for survival. Driven by force and emotions, Coven provide a sound that is neither violent nor to be catagorized under Emocore - this is honest and autochthonous Screamo.
