Gong - My Sawtooth Wake (live) (MR)
This 12-minute live version of Gong's 'My Sawtooth Wake' is the first single off their upcoming live album "Pulsing Signals". Fans of Jazz Prog, and Psychedelic Art Rock should mark February 18, 2022 in their calendars since on this day the recordings from Gong's UK tor 2019 will be relased via Kscope.
Atavismo - Psicopatías del 2021 (MR)
Here is another track off the stunning compilation "Grados.Minutos.Segundos" by Spinda Records. Andalusian quartet Atavismo creates a deep and colourful vortex made from psychedelic sounds that slowly drag their listeners into its breathtaking depths.
Totally Unicorn - Fri(ends) (MR)
Sydney's Totally Unicorn have announced their next album "High Spirits//Low Life" to be released on february 18, 2022. The Australian quartet presents the album's first ex ante single 'Fri(ends)' on which they seemlessly continue their unque style that combines Mathcore, Thrash Metal, and some snotty Punk Rock attitude. The new single ends in an Alternative Metal-like loop of a chorus and it definitely raises my anticipation for next year.
MaHA Rocks - I will survive (MR)
Ukrainian artist MaHA Rocks has released their latest album "I will survive" in October. On a dozen of new tracks, the long player is filled with positivity, empowering messages, and a powerful and confident attitude. MaHA Rocks provides the hearing with radio-ready and yet heavy Alternative Rock and uplifting lyrics.
Superlynx - Solstice (MR)
Superlynx' "Electric Temple" is not even nine months old, and the band from Oslo, Norway is already back with a six-track EP. The release contains four cover versions and two original songs by the Norwegian Doom and Stoner Metal band. The trio presents their interpretations of Saint Vitus' 'Born too late', 'Spread your Love' by BRMC, Nirvana's 'Something in the Way', and 'Nature Boy' by Nat King Cole and Eden Ahbez.
Bad Penny - K.Y.S. (MR)
The Netherlands' Bad Penny will soon release their new EP "Glitter Guitar" via Geertuida. The first ex ante single 'K.Y.S.' gives us a great pre-taste of what to expect from the upcoming release. Fans of melodic but kick-ass Grunge and Punk Rock with a certain Indie note à la Get Jealous will certainly love this sound.
Kuolemanlaakso - Katkeruuden Malja (MR)
'Katkeruuden Malja' (Finnish: 'A Cup of Bitterness') is the first single of Kuolemanlaakso's (Finnish: Death Valley) upcoming album "Kuusumu"(Finnish: "Spruce"). Svart Records will publish the seven-track album on March 04, 2022. A lot of dark and harmonic Metal with a folky twist can be expected from this wholesome release.

Black Doldrums - Sad Paradise (MR)
London's Black Doldrums have also announced ther new album "Dead Awake" to be released in the first quarter of 2022. As the band shows on the song 'Sad Paradise', they will provide us with atmospheric and dynamic Post Punk that comes with some powerfully dragging psychedelia and an emotive state between joy and melancholia. Fuzz Club will release an album that invites us to all-night basement parties.
Breathe Band - Live at the Chilli Festival (MR)
In August 2021, Breathe Band from Kingston upon Thames played a show at the Chilli Festival in Walton on Thames. The recordings by Carl Gos have now been released as a six-track digital EP for streaming (and name-your-price on Bandcamp). Honest and handmade Indie Folk meets Trad Folk and Americana when the English band enthuses their audience in front of the stage or at home.

In the year 2020, no god only teeth from Hamburg, Germany spent a long weekend of thre days together. The outcome of this session is the six-track release "Placenta" which is available via Narshardaa Records. Influenced by various several genres, the five band members have created their very own sound that combines Sludge and Post Metal with (Neo-) Crust, Black Metal, and Hardcore Punk.
Sylvaine - Nowhere, still somehwere (MR)
'Nowhere, still somehwere' is the first single off Oslo's Sylvaine's upcoming album "Nova" which will be released in March 2022 via Season of Mist. On the first ex ante release, the Norwegian artists masterfully combines the cold of Black Metal with the sweet melancholia of Shoegaze and Dark Ambient, and clads this sonic piece of art in colourful Dream Rock.

Tyler Kamen - Lizard House (MR)
Two weeks before New Year's Eve, Tyler Kamen from New York released his album "Lizard House". Musical story-teller Tyler Kamen invites us to his fantastic fictional universe by telling the third part of the Spectacular Machine series which is actually the prequel to "Mr. Loon and his Spectuacular Machine" and "The Cassowary Manifesto". This is the story of young Swindlebeast, a soul-stealing headmaster, the Monk Key, and the fight against evil - musicked via sophisticated and psychedelic Prog Rock.
