Her Highness - Visions of a lower Life (MR)
K.T. and K.A. from Hungarian capital Budapest are Her Highness. The duo has recently released their first full-length album which contains six songs written between 2016 and 2019. On these tracks, Drone, Sludge, Ambient and Doom create an unbreakable alloy. Russian [addicted label] presents an album on which darkness, melancholy, claustrophobia, and desparation are musicked via heavy and slow notes (and a bit of Sabbath worship).

Mouth Congress - Waiting for Henry (MR)
On LP and CD, Captured Tracks presents an album that is more colourful than an army of rainbows. Mouth Congress from Toronto, Ontario artistically break through genre borders, and re-install new chlichés. After all, this 29-song album is punk as heck. On around seventy minutes, the Canadian band merges humour, nihilism, and the fight for sexual independence for everyone.

Wolfskrone - The Hunt (MR)
The part of the year when autumn is about to end and the season gradually transitions towards winter might be one of the most spectacular and impressive phases of the annual cycle. Wolfskrone from Tartu, Estonia have dedicated their new album "The Hunt" to this change of seasons. Black Metal with movements as ragig and cold as blizzards blowing from the Baltic Sea musicks this beautiful phenomenon. The CD is avalaible via Estonian label Warhorn.

The Past - You are fucked in the Head
Grönpeppar Records presents an album that is as punk as it can be. In March 2020, the band recorded these twelve songs that take us back to the glorious times of Punk Rock, Oi!, and Mod. But The Past are not just another band of drunks who sing about drinking, getting drunk, and alcohol. This band is serious about antifascism, antisexism, anticapitalism, and antiracism.

Hypnotic Floor - Odd Conjectures (MR)
Around one and a half years after "Foggy Bog Eyes" was released, Hypnotic Floor from Austrian capital Vienna are back with their new album "Odd Conjectures". LP and CD are available via StoneFree and contain a sonic kaldeidoscopic vortex of eight tracks. The band masterfully and colourfully merges Krautrock, Prog, and Psychedelic Rock for fans of Motorpsycho.

Toxicon - Parallelysis (MR)
In their new song, Toxicon from Melbourne, Australia disenchant the romantic image that is often connected to being a musician or an artist. The quintet concerns the constant struggle of being torn between family, friends, self-employed work, and the demands one has to oneself. This honest and sober presentation comes with powerful Prog Metal and will be featured on the band's upcoming album "Be the Fire & Wish for the Wind".

Kajgūn - Chamber Works in Concrete ( Live at Beton) (MR)
How about some Symptprocentive Jazz Metal? Budapest's Experimental quartet Kajgūn has played a concert at Beton, Győr which is now available for streaming on Bandcamp, YouTube, and Spotify. For almost one hour, the band presents excessive improvised sounds that break the rules of Metal, Psychedelia, and Jazz, and consequently merge the remains of these genres to a unique and thrilling sound.

Изразец - Изразец (MR)
And while we are at it, hee is some more eclectic and experimental music on the base of Free Jazz and sheer madness. The trio Изразец (pronounce: Izrazets) from Moscow, Russia has released their selftitled debut album via [addicted label]. CD, cassette, and digital version contain six tracks on which the band presents sophisticated and insane Free Jazz combined with Noise and Dub.

Yarraman - Firmament (MR)
Two and a half years after the release of their four-way Split 7'' with The Other Half, Grieving, and Yr Poetry, London's Art Punk band Yarraman is back with a three-track EP. Confident, aggressive, and yet emotional sounds define the ten minutes of music on "Firmament". The English quartet lets Hardcore and Post Hardcore one the one hand, and Punk Rock and Post Punk on the other hand merge to something dark but dynamic, and thrilling.

Burlers - Exhaust Fan (MR)
Geertruida presents a new Punk Rock band that you should keep in mind. The Dutch quartet Burlers has been formed in the first year of the Coronacene and is since then exploring the dawning of a new dark age in which anxiety, mental health issues, and the constant fight over truth are some of the major battles, humankind has to fight. The first single 'Exhaust Fan' shows how Burlers play energetic Punk Rock that is impacted by the darkness of late 1980s Post Punk.

BSÍ - Old Moon (MR)
BSÍ (Brussels Sprouts Intl) have created a new music video for their song 'Old Moon' which is featured on their debut album's A-Side "Sometimes depressed...". The Lofi Indie Cute Pop Punk duo from Reykjavík, Iceland lets the audience dive into a deep, dark, but still comfortable realm of Shoegaze, Post Punk, and Dream Pop. This is a perfect song to light a candle to and enjoy a hot cup of tea while watching stormy weather from inside your room.

Nocturna - Daughters of the Night (MR)
Nocturna's debut album "Daughters of the Night" will be released on January 14, 2022 via Scarlet Records. The album's title track gives us a great impression of what to expect from the ten-track release. Nocturna create gorgeous and harmonic melodies made from Gothic and Symphonic Rock above powerfully speeding sceneries of Heavy and Power Metal.

Pom Pom Squad - Popular (MR)
Together with Matthew Caws of Nada Surf, New York's Pom Pom Squad illuminates the darkest sides of High School life. In the middle of this romanticized coming-of-age world, Pom Pom Squad address sexism, bullying, isolation, physical and psychological violence - the everyday reality of High Schools we do not want to see. This honest and neccessary statement is musicked by melodic and dark Alternative Rock with a certain Post Punk twist.

Mía Turbia - Centro de Gravedad (MR)
Jaén's Mía Turbia play psychedelic and exciting Progressive Rock. Their song 'Centro de Gravedad' was featured on a 7'' Split with Atavismo, and together with that band it is now featured on the great compilation "Grados.Segundos.Minutos." released by Spinda Records. The Psychedelic Prog presented here pushes forwad straightly into the direction of rush and trance.

Professor Electric - Predictions
The new single by Professor Electric from Las Vegas, NV features the title track 'Predictions' and the Nick Cave cover 'Brother, my Cup is empty'. The single is being published by The Swamp Records and contains the roughest, most brutal, and fuzziest sounds that can result by mixing Blues Rock, Stoner Rock, and Punk Rock. Similar to early works by Uncle Acid & the Deadbeats, Professor Electric leaves nothing behind but rubble and ashes.
