T.S.A.R.G. (that super average random guy) is the solo project by Marcel Raupp aka Mörfh, bass player and vocalist at Würzburg's Melodic/Skate Punk band Danger Jerk. Mörfh proves to be an authentic 90s punk rock kid who grew up in the countryside, accompanied by MTV, THPS and NUFAN. During the times of the first lockdown, he wrote, recorded, mixed and mastered ten acoustic songs that are now available on CD and on Bandcamp (side note: when I wrote this, there had been only one lockdown so far; but since people are stupid, I am expecting another one).

"Moth" is an exceptionally soulful Punk Rock album. Rhythms and harmonies fit the Skate Punk style of the 1990s. This is the Melodic Punk Rock for camp fires, beer gardens, a day in the countryside, or a long ride in the car with friends. The lyrics are selfreflected, thoughtful, passionate and often ironic.
T.S.A.R.G.s debut contains thoughts on politics ('Lies'), growing up in an environment of Punk Rock ('Generation Y', 'Moth'), friendship, love, shared memories, and a very touching song for the artist's mother.

Mörfh said his album was corny. I prefer terms such as soulful or ironically sentimental - even though not all of the lyrics are ironic! It is a very melodic and moving Acoustic Punk albums you should check out!
And while you're still reading: send me a message on Facebook and tell me what your favourite 90s Punk Rock band was. On Monday, August 10, 2020, one of you will receive a free Download Code for "Moth".
