What do you after the dices have been cast? For Antonis Karathanasopoulos (vocals, guitar), John Rompas (bass, vocals) and Aggelos Kalogiannis (drums) the answer is to roll again. "Reroll" is the second album by the power trio from the Greek capital which can be orderer via Vinyl-Store.gr.
The album was recorded within a nine-day live session at Made in Hell Studios, Athens in August 2020, where David Prudent took care of mix and master. The songwriting was done by the band themselves, except for some little help: for the song 'Pivoine' Fanis Tsougrianis (acoustic bass) joined bass player Rompas who played the classical guitar. And in 'Walking away' Stephanie Stephanides supported Karathanasopoulos in writing the lyrics. Some readers might remember that Stephanides was featured as a lyricist on Honeybadger's recent release, too.
The direction the trio roll their dices at is clear: back tothe 70s: dynamic Hard Rock and Heavy Rock waltz over the audience like a fully fueled Cadillac. Heavily moving drum rhythms are decorated with plenty of small fills while the rotund bass creates gorgeous warm Blues motifs that make your feet go crazy. The guitar play is defined by swift Rock'n Roll patterns flying across fretboard with high speed. On top the clean vocals add to this Heavy Rock atmosphere. In the longtrack 'Into the Fire', the background vocals additionally support this great atmosphere. Here, I was reminded of Norway's Moving Oos a little.

Rollin' Dice's sophomore album is an amazing release to make your body move. No matter if you want to dance, work out, run or enlighten your car-drive, this album will accelerate you. "Reroll" is a powerload of fast motion and beautifully rolling Blues Rock.
