First of, what a band! I sometimes feel like minimalism is increasingly taking over in Rock music when looking at plenty of trios, duos or even one-person bands. And then I receive a promo CD by Norway's octett Moving Oos. Therefore, let me introduce you to the line-up of their third album "Made from Sin":
Vegard Bjerkan - Keyboards,
Haakon-Marius Pettersen - Keyboards,
Eirik Øien - Bass,
Stian Lundberg - drums,
Mildrid Seljemark - Choir,
Ranveig Seljemark - Choir,
Per Borten - Guitar, and
Frank Reppen - Vocals.

But not only the line-up on "Made from Sin" is exceptional. Moving Oos present a powerful and strong mixture of Blues-driven Hard Rock and warm Soul. The timeless music easily wanders through decades and across continents. With impact by Jazz, Funk and Gospel the Moving Oos never forget to Rock and Roll.

Harmonic arrangements define the movement of the album. In each part the majority of the band joins in to create a warm, soulful and holistic multi-layer sound experience. Just listen to how the beautiful choirs by Mildrid and Ranveig Seljemark support the melody and you'll melt like strawberry sorbet in hell.
Moving Oos' new work "Made from Sin" spreads comfort and joy. The retro aspect reminds of allegedly easy-going times. Timeless music for the next decade! So turn up the volume, pour yourselves a glass of Gin Tonic and enjoy the show.
