Craig Gould - Burned
Release Date: May 11, 2022
Duration: 03:47
Origin: Americana / Alt Country
Origin: Burton-on-Trent, England
In October 2021, the debut single 'Ain't no Place to hide' by Staffordshire's Craig Could was featured on MangoWave (find the article here). The single which was release on September 15, 2021, was the first out of three ex ante teasers for Craig Gould's first full-length album "Songs from the Campfire". The longplayer is expected to drop in late summer (Northern Hemisphere) of 2022, and besides 'Ain't no Place to hide', and the second single 'Captain of the Seas', it will also feature the song on hand, 'Burned'.
'Burned' has the potential to become the next big drinking and party hymn. Despite its grave humour that describes the song's protagonists losing their senses over drinking and drinking themselves to the coffin, Craig Gould and his fellow musicians wrap this dark theme up in dynamic and happy sounds. Behind that humourist approach there are serious thoughts and good intentions, and therefore all the revenue made from this song will be donated to CALM (Campaign Against Living Miserably) - an organization that supports people with mental health issues. Beyond supporting their important cause by buying Craig Gould's 'Burned', you will also find more information on how to help them on their mission on their homepage.

Although less than four minutes long, Craig Gould's 'Burned' is colourful little bouqet, a fantastic box full of little gorgeous details and tiny surprises. What begins as a rather traditional Country song, quickly becomes a great sing-a-long anthem that pleases all ears. From the joyful "Yeee-haaw!" in the background over the multi-layer interaction of instruments and the atmosphere they create until the final words uttered Sonny Bruce, 'Burned' is a huge party for your eardrums.
