Trees of Daymare - Harbinger of the Apocalypse
Release Date: August 07, 2020
Duration: 04:03
Genre: Melodic Death Metal
Origin: Dhaka, Bangladesh / Stockholm, Sweden
'Harbinger of The Apocalypse' by the international metal duo Trees of Daymare was released in 2020, but now the song is more relevant than ever.
The mastermind behind the band is Raad Shahamat Hasan from Bangladesh, who is the author of music, drum programming and lyrics. After joining forces with Swedish vocalist Stefan Nordstrom the new iteration of the act released two singles of pure Norsk metal worship.
The synergy of the band is almost tangible, and captures the moment when two artists complete each others creative output perfectly, and it just clicks. The songs produced by Trees of Daymare breathes classic melodic death, with the particular focus on the old school Finnish sound - saturated with melodism and keyboard lines in the vein of Catamenia and Insomnium (which the band cites as one of the biggest inspirations), early In Flames with the finish of Swallow the Sun’s vocals.

'Harbinger of The Apocalypse' is an epic mid-tempo shire, treading heavily and steadily. The four minute track sounds surprisingly short and never becomes boring: from the opening riff sewn into the keyboards thread, to the acoustic pattern and minimalistic straightforward drumming, the song displays some serious songwriting skills. The wounded beast vocals add up to the mix and the feeling and feel just right.

What will be left for us?
I guess we will just have to wait and see. I only hope Trees of Daymare will have enough time to drop an album, before Earth is nuked to fucking shreds.
