Label: selfrelease
Format: Vinyl / Digital
Length: 07:32
For this year's Christmas Eve we're receiving a huge surprise. Québecois Stoner Doom band Seum and French Doom Metal band Fátima have recorded a 7-inch Split. And it is not only a Split on whoch both present one of their songs. On the contrary! This release features Seum playing Fátima and Fátima playing Seum.
A-Side: Seum - Saliva Bath
Length: 03:28
Genre: Sludge
Origin: Montreal, Canada
'Saliva Bath' is featured on Fátima's most recent album "Turkish Delights". Seum have re-interpreted the song as a brachial Sludge version. Seum let the oriental tunes step to the back a little, and instead foreground the sheer brachiality of their powerful Sludge sound. The A-Side is a steam roller from hell.

B-Side: Fátima - Raining Bricks
Length: 04:04
Genre: Stoner Grunge / Desert Rock
Origin: Paris, France
Originally featured on Seum's "Summer of Seum", 'Raining Bricks' was a venomous and sludgy Stoner Doom song. Fátima gave it a solid repaint. Heavily rolling Stoner Grunge and Desert Rock are presented with dominant Oriental scales in the leads and make 'Raining Bricks' a completly different listening experience.

The Split by Seum and Fátima is an answer to a question many of us might have asked themselves. Seum show what a Fátima song would sound like if they played it and vice-versa. And most importantly, the two bands perfectly complement each other.
