London's Indie, Blues, and Rock'n'Roll band Modern Guilt has been quite active over the last year. You might remember them being featured in the Discoveries of the Week in October 2020 ("Hoping for the Hoping"), and March 2021 ("Get along"). The latter is featured on the EP on hand.
"You're Welcome" is the band's debut EP - a five-track collection of honest and timeless rock music.

The style of Rock'n'Roll that Modern Guilt provide us with, is a beautiful combination of the best elements of the genre over time. Massively rolling Blues Rock reminds of the origins of rock music while a certain psychedelia reminds of the Summer of Love. The crunchy guitars and dynamic structures of the songs add a certain air of the better days of The Rolling Stones, and finally with its Twee, Brit Pop, and Indie Rock influence, the music sounds British as hell. Modern Guilt's "You're Welcome" is a Rock'n'Roll EP without compromise or unneccessary decoration - replying to the title, I'll say "Thank you".
