For six years, WARTERAUM (German: waiting room) from Austria's capital has produced 1980s-style electronic music that combines the two worlds of punk and wave, passion and aggression. The latest single "Coup d'État" keeps up with that tradition and provides us with a sweet romance between a revolution, nihilism, and true love. WARTERAUM's "Coup d'État" is the first single from the upcoming third EP "WARTERAUM 3".


In the song, worlds collide, and thereby a revolutionary sound is being created. Atmospheric Synthwave in the style of 1980s European Pop music paints boppy colours into a sky that is shaded red and black by the noisy Electropunk sounds. Thus, this stunning track tastes like an intimate kiss in the middle of a burning street.
