Release Date: July 09, 2021
Length: 03:34
Genre: Alternative Rock / Psychedelic Rock
Origin: Exeter, England

"The Mountain and The Wave" is the second single following Third Girl From The Left's debut EP "Oxygen". The sophomore EP is to be expected for October 2021. The song is inspired by the Greek myth of Tyro that tell of a married woman who feels a deep desire to Enipeus, the river god. Instead of her desire being fulfilled, the protagonist is getting seduced and tricked by the god of the sea, Poseidon. It is a myth that shall teach its audience about addiction and about the importance of selfconfidence.

"The Mountain and The Wave" contains the three-fold signature of Third Girl From The Left: Seduction as a part of the song's narrative, Greek mythology as inspiration, and the sound of a motorbike.
The psychedelic sonic narrative is driven by a massive bass, dynamic drumming, and a powerfully raging organ. On top, Third Girl From The Left enchants the listeners with etheral vocals. "The Mountain and The Wave" is a thrilling fusion of spheric Alternative Rock, a colourful kaleidoscope of Psychedelic Rock, nuances of Garage Punk, and exciting story-telling.
