Genre: Brutal Jazz / Freakshow
Origin: Manchester, England

The latest single "Paradoxia" by Manchester's artistic weirdos Slow Knife was inspired by the book "Paradoxia: A Predator's Diary", written by Lydia Lunch. I cannot tell you anything about this book, but according to the press kit, it is about an infernal journey, full of sinful action and debauchery.
The song contains actual vocals samples by author Lydia Lunch, and apparently, her own musical taste was used as a further source of inspiration for the song. Therefore, here is Slow Knife featuring Lydia Lunch, and their song inspired by Lydia Lunch, and also inspired by what Lydia Lunch likes:

Music-wise, "Paradoxia" is a zig-zag rocket-ride alongside the border between genius and insanity. The mixture of Jazz, Noise, Industrial, and madness is a hot recommendation for visitors and fans of the Freakshow in Concert series by Charlie Heidenreich. Savage and noisy explosions lead into loungy Jazz, lead back to erupting volcanos of Jazz from hell, or into atmospheric ambient sounds.
And within this chaos, this sheer insanity, there is order. Slow Knife's "Paradoxia" is a Brutal Jazz attack in which every little detail is put exactly where it belongs. If you enjoy the works by artists such as The Gangsta Rabbi, ni, MOOP, or taylorshit.net, or Frank Zappa and Captain Beefheart, you will love Slow Knife.
