Everything but the Everything's song 'Blue Sun' was born at the studio of producer Rex Shelverton in San Francisco. At this very place, Izzy the Gent wrote the lines for bass and guitar but then felt that something was missing. One phone call later, guitar player Jimmy Chen added his lines for the verses. Further, San Francisco music legend Olivia Barchard happily agreed to be the vocalist for this project, and finally, drummer Landon Cisneros added the final spice to it. The result is a timeless rock anthem, a colourful cocktail of dynamic and moving sound.

'Blue Sun' starts in medias res with its magical chorus that makes the listeners dream of blue skies, gentle sun shine, and a soft coastal breeze. In the verse, Everything but the Everything emphasize the maritime atmosphere by adding an energetic surf guitar. And so, the hymnic song is ready. Here's my feel-good advice: Turn up the volume and think of Summer.
