 Zo - Cry
Release Date: September 17, 2021
Length: 05:21
Genre: Alternative Rock
Origin: Philadelphia, PA, USA

'Cry' was the lastest ex ante single of Philadelphia-based Zo's recent EP "Dark Hallways". In the song, vocalist and songwriter Gina Castanzo concerns the sadder parts of phenomena love and sex. Thus, 'Cry' is about sadness that can correlate with love. It is a song about hopeless affection, about the desire for physicality, and about the danger of toxic relationships.

The soft and gently funky verses resemble the feeling of desire, or lying alone in your bed yearning for being with that special person you dream about. The psychedelia yields for some massive Alternative Rock driven by Castonzo's powerful Soul voice. It is a song as bittersweet as the reality of love, intimacy, and desires themselves.
