'חַיִים' (or 'Haim' in Latin letters) is the newest single by Ashkelon's rising star Jiva. Together with Ukrainian producer Dmitry Dubrov, the talented artist from Israel has produced a stunning song about the power of belief, and about the power that internal beliefs and attitudes can have on external manifestations.
On gentle and soothing piano sounds, Jiva Taranenko initially breathes soft vocals and thereby opens the stage of this sonic reverie. This theme then gets supported by strong and yet comforting Trip Hop and Darkwave sounds. And so, an elegant movement is created that reminds of a campire and its smoke dancing through the dark of the night. Jiva's 'חַיִים' is a song to close your eyes and let the feelings happen to. Probably the most intense, beautiful, and emotional song, Jiva has released so far.
