Only one year after their self-titled debut, Occult Hand Order returned with their sophomore album "The Chained,The Burned, The Wounded". Another six months later, this release is now available on vinyl. Time to take a closer listening on those five tracks by the band from Lyon.

"The Chained, The Burned, The Wounded" is opened by the acoustic track 'Azazel', but then immediately slides into heavily halting Desert and Doom sounds. The album is a colourful journey to a planet called Earth, ages after humankind has gone extinct. The dusty remains of the place we once called home appears strange to us - and yet so familiar.

Fuzzy Stoner Doom and intense Heavy Rock musick an expedition of deserted lands and abandoned spheres. The sounds on "The Chained, The Burned, The Wounded" are hot and dusty like the Mojave Desert and yet solid like a monumentous mountain amidst this lifeless sphere. Or is it lifeless? Listen to the album and explore 'What comes after us'.
With "The Chained, The Burned, The Wounded", Occult Hand Order have created a powerful and impressive work of Stoner Doom, Heavy Rock, and Desert Rock. Fans of Mars Red Sky, first-album Black Sabbath, or Tuber will love this one.
