On his third full-length release, St. Petersburg's Egor Lappo is taking us to deep space. On this intergalactic journey, the solo artist is the captain, the navigator, the crew, and the shipbuilder. We, the audience, are tourists enjoying a ride with warp speed.

The Space Prog which defines direction and velocity of this space trip is a colourful mix of (Retro-) Progressive Rock and intense Prog Metal. The music feels like looking through a telescope with an implemented calleidoscope. Egor Lappo leads us to fantastic regions of outter space and tells the stories about two worlds who are in conflict with each other. Following the plot of one person interfering with his home planet's plans to conquer the other world, the listeners are dragged into an exciting narrative taking place in space. Can the protagonist save the foreign planet from destruction? Can peace be restored?

Unlike many space oddysseys, "Trancevoicer" is hardly psychedelic which allows a very sober view of the interplanetary conflict described here. Hence, the audience can look into the protagonist's perspective and follow his struggle against injustice, war, and destruction. Egor Lappo creates crystal clear images of the space in which this science fiction saga takes place. This impressive Space Prog narrative will make listeners of Devin Townsend or Jalayan very happy.
