A lot has happened since Austria's twangmen released their debut EP "Double Peace" in 2013. Not only has the band moved to the state Vorarlberg (a beautiful region in Western Austria, known for its gorgeous landscape and very unique language). Also, the band has grown from a trio to a quintet. Be introduced to the line-up which has recorded the full-length album "triskele and cascades":
Martin 'Medy' Mayer - guitar,
Gunnary Kiesinger  - keyboards,
Flow Frick - drums,
Fabian Jäger  cello,
Daniel Seeger - bass.

What twangmen have created here is a collection of intelligent and various Prog and Post Rock tracks. Keyboards and cello add a highly meditative and atmospheric layer to this rather rough soundscape. And yet, twangmen add jazzy and funky elements to their music. With "triskele and cascades", the Austrian band has produced a beautiful, coherent album, full of surprises and unexpected elements. This album is a hot tip for fans of Automatism, Nazca Space Fox, an Action & Tension & Space.
