Welcome to the "World of Carp"! This is the fourth album by Cambridge's Jangle Pop band Model Village. Get ready for some smooth and washed out sounds, little to no distortion, dreamy atmosphere, and soothingly melodic melancholy.

Model Village's "World of Carp" is soulful package of real emotions, honesty, and desire. They play the soundtrack for bouyant dance steps between kitchen and living room, for the last glass of wine before the candles go out, or for many other situations in this crazy thing called life. If the music on "World of Carp" had to be described with one word, then that could be 'touching'.

Model Village are both boppy and authochthonous. They merge the potential to be featured on big radio stations with an honest DIY attitude. And after all, they are a hot tip for fans of Between Owls.
