Pandu Hutomo is a musician from Jakarta, in the North West of the Indonesian island Java. Hutomo has inhaled the versatile music scene of South East Asia and Oceania with their numerous influences from European and American music. Since 2015, Pandu Hutomo is combining these various impacts to create his own sounds as a solo artist. Several Eps, singles and the album 2017 album “Wasted Hearts: A Love Story for the (Loveless) Ages” have been released by the talented artist and several guest musicians so far. Pandu Hutomo understands how to merge styles of Pop and Rock music with the sonic heritage of his Sundanese descent.

The newest release by Pandu Hitomo is the Post-Grunge or Alternative Rock song “Mojang Supremacy”. The song is about a young man who wants to impress and attract the affection of a young unwed woman. Single women are called ‘Mojang’ in the Sundanese language which is predominantly spoken in West Java. Together with guest musicians Bernardo Yacono (drums) and Shannon Claudia (noises), Pandu Hutomo creates a romantic and boppy sound. Alternative Rock and Post-Millenium Grunge create a smooth soundscape perfect for the dancefloors. The psychedelic harmonies in this Alternative Pop song derive from Hutomo’s Indonesian home and consequently help creating a unique and mesmerizing sound.
