Bison Face - Private Joke Party
Release Date: July 30, 2021
Length: 03:31
Genre: Alternative Rock / Grunge
Origin: St. Albans, England

The Grunge-Revival predominantly has two faces, and I love both of them. On the one hand, there is the mix of Punk and Grunge by amazing acts like Hands off Gretel, Passionless Pointless, or 24/7 Diva Heaven. And on the other hand, there are bands who revive the soulful and melancholic Alternative Rock that (more or less) followed Grunge. Two protagonists of the latter are Congoroo and Bison Face.

On 'Private Joke Party' Hertfordshire's Bison Face take their audience to a dark but comfortable space where the drinks are cold and the music is loud. A massively rolling riff and anthemic choruses move across the heavyweight rhythms until they collapse into an even heavier instrumental part. If your 90s heroes were Smashing Pumpkins and Alice in Chains, you will adore Bison Face.

Music from every post will stay in the MangoRotation playlist for 14 days.
