The time has come to fill up another blank spot on my musical atlas with great sound. Today, the first artist from the state of Nevada will be featured on MangoWave. Here are Mike, Brogan, Darren, and Zander from Reno, also known as Split Persona. The young quartet has made their debut with the self- titled EP released on Valentine's Day 2020 - shortly before COVID began to change our world. Fifteen months later, the single on hand saw the light of day. Turn up the volume, pour the drink of your choice, and get ready to freak out because here's 'On your own'.

The new single combines the atmospheric and soulfully gloomy sound of late-90s Alternative Rock with a heavily rolling Hard Rock theme. The swiftly played guitar solo after the first chorus shows that Split Persona have some deep love for the original Hard Rock sound - and a great taste in humour.
'On your own' is a burning hot party anthem, and it is the kind of song you want to put on the radio station of your preferred GTA game and hit the road. This is full-throttle Hard Rock with heart and power. A full-length album with more of this honest music is to be expected soon.

Music from every post will stay in the MangoRotation playlist for 14 days.
