After two appearances in the Discoveries of the Week in October and December of 2020, LA's MIHI NIHIL now receive their first own article on MangoWave. In April 2021, the Californian quartet released their selftitled debut album which once more proved how versatile the band is. With sounds that reach from Punk to Post Punk, and from Indie and Shoegaze to Art Rock, MIHI NIHIL easily merge and combine genres. The latest single from the album is the dreamy anthem 'Ticking Clocks':


This song about time spreads a thick and cool mist made from Shoegaze, Post Punk and melancholia. Despite the foggy atmosphere, MIHI NIHIL add steady movement to the song - time never stands still. 'Ticking Clocks' is a great tune to reflect to, a good song for ordering the last round, or for getting out of bed.
