Let me introduce you to Blackout Transmission, an LA-based band with huge potential to stay in your playlists for the next years. The Californian band has recently released their debut album which will look beautiful in the vinyl collections of music lovers. "Sparse Illumination" is a colourful mix of psychedelic, melancholic, sensual, and emotional sounds.
Here are:
Christopher Goett - vocals, guitars, bass, synthesizers,
Adam D'Zurilla - guitar,
Kevin Cluppert - bass,
Anthony Salazar - drums and percussion, and
Scott Holmes - synthesizers on 'Once there', guitars on 'Tactile Responses' and 'Portals', and percussions on 'Once there' and 'Pacifica'.

"Sparse Illumination" is a thrilling melting pot of amazing music. Blackout Transmission combine more styles than Blogspot allows me to add in the tags.
The album features the gloomy Wave- and Post Punk atmosphere of Depeche Mode or New Order, the melancholic Indie and Alternative Rock sound of Placebo, the dizzy Shoegaze of early Oasis, the mesmerizing Space and Psychedelic Rock air of No Man's Valley or Psychic Lemon, the Krautrock of Vibravoid or Holy Monitor, and a whole lot more.
The result is a beautiful sonic image full of passion, wholesome emotions, and soothing soundscapes. Blackout Transmission's debut is an album for the heart, for the mind, and for the body. Personally, I recommend dry red wine to enjoy "Sparse Illumination" to, but there are myriads of other ways to have a good time with this impressive piece of sonic art.
