Brooklyn's Jess Ludwicki (bass), Anthony Macbain (guitar and vocals), and Paul Weil (drums and vocals) are The Psyched. With the EP "Body Buzz", the trio has publisheded their second release which follows the selftitled single from nine years ago. The EP has been recorded on 2'' tape and is now available on white 12'' vinyl via Specious Arts, containing seven songs plus two bonus tracks.

"Body Buzz" is a thirsty party soundtrack. The Psyched play honest and thrilling Garage Rock that often show tendencies towards 77 Punk and psychedelic Indie Rock. The sound is fuzzy, noisy, dizzy and absolutely motivating. The short but impressive release contains mid-tempo anthems and uptempo bangers that will please fans of early-day Punk Rock (à la The Adicts) and autochthonous Garage music. This EP is rock and roll as hell.
My recommendation: open a cold drink and let The Psyched move your body.
