Almost a year ago, London's duo Bladderwrack had their first appearance on MangoWave when their single "Dominatrix" was featured in the Discoveries of the Week. In their recent release "Troll", Bladderwrack take on an internet phenomenon that appeared to be the contuination of silly kids being dicks at first, but has become a serious thread. Here is Bladderwrack's "Troll".
With drums, guitar, and shouted vocals, Bladderwrack create a minimalist and yet catchy mélange of Punk and Alternative. Crunchy riffs on a heavily rolling beat make "Troll" a banging anthem for the moshpit, the skate park, and the fast lane.
The LoFi approach of this song kind of makes it sound like The Toy Dolls' "Nelly the Elephant" reinterpreted by Gnarkill.
