With a band name reffering to the capital of Norway, and an album title that means "dizzy" or "confusing" in Norwegian, one could assume that Oslo Tapes are a band fro that very Skandinavian country. Instead, the band was founded by Southern Italian artist Marco Campitelli after he returned from a trip to Oslo. The original idea was to musick the melancholic atmosphere of the Northern metropolis. Since the formation of Oslo Tapes, two full-length releases have been published which are now followed by album number three: "Ør".

With support by Mauro Spada (bass) and Davide Di Virgilio (drums and percussions), Marco Campitelli takes us on a colourful sonic journey. Psychedelic, atmospheric and somewhat dreamy, the soundscapes on "Ør" create a shiny calleidoscope of mesmerizing Krautrock.
The element that stands out the most are the rhytms played by Davide, as they are extraordinarily jazzy and often resemble a certain jungle vibe. On top, Mauro and Marco build a sonic construct that perfectly fits the album's title. It is a dizzy, misty, thrilling atmosphere that takes the audience on a confusing, aimless, and yet gorgeous trip.
"Ør" is a psychedelic journey to let go to. Turn up the volume, close your eyes and enjoy the fuzzy images.
