If the artist name GEA rings a bell, that may have different reasons. Maybe you remember the Discoveries of the Week from 20 January, 2021 that featured 'Sun fights the Moon' - which by the way s featured on the album on hand. More likely is that you have watched the Netflix series "Happy Jail" that contains music by GEA. The Finnish artist has consequently several awards at film festivals. Besides that, GEA has toured Japan, Mexico, the USA, and Europe with her previous releases, the 2017 album "Butterflies" and the 2019 EP "Snow".

"Call for a Snake" was born from unjust treatment at the artist's workplace, relaxation via Kundalini Yoga, and GEA's decision to quit her job on focus her energy on producing the album.
It is a fantastic sonic journey through plenty of overhwelming emotions, aiming for closure and inner peace. The soundscapes os "Call for a Snake" overcome darkness and negativity by overpowering with harmony and love. GEA presents powerful soundscapes that sonorously and gently merge Alternative Rock, Dream Pop, and Synthwave. Hence, GEA's latest work is a healing and empowering work of sonic reverie.
