What was once "a pan-national studio-based project" (cf. NKOS on Bandcamp) is now a band.  Put on your dancing shoes and luminiscent outfits for NKOS. Powered by the harmony of global connection and the internet, the band has now released their first album "From Dust to Life" via Beatbuzzrecords. The eight-track album contains the previously released singles "Little Miss Numb", "BOW (Brave Old  World)", "Lonely Ghost-Self", "Can't Wait", and four new tracks.

The soundscapes on "From Dust to Life" are as versatile as life on Earth, and as dark as the dystopian future we are moving towards. And yet, the music is motivating, dynamic, energetic, as if NKOS invited us on an excessive dance - a dance in the dungeons below the ruins of our society - a joyful dance that could be the last one.
Atmospheric Post Punk and Darkwave define the majority of the gloomily moving soundscapes. But NKOS know how to create tension and motion, and thus they frequently increase the tempo via thrilling Breakbeat and DnB. Overall, and especially due to the hypnotizing vocals, "From Dust to Life" has a strong Industrial air.
NKOS' debut is a shiny titbit for lovers of dystopian soundscapes, a collection of powerful bangers for everyone who prefers their dancefloors dark, and proof that Post Punk, Darkwave, and dark Electronica are still alive and kicking.
